Gorgeous Grad Shoot with Props

I jumped at the chance to photograph this soon-to-be graduate. Having gone through several graduations of my own, it is quite easy to get excited for other people about this huge milestone in their lives- that moment when all of the studying and hard work finally pays off! Madison is completing a speech and language pathology graduate program, and she chose to incorporate several items into her shoot that relate to her graduate program and her new career. Bringing objects that have special significance are a great way to personalize your shoot and capture photos that will always take you back to this particular period in your life. Madison also provided inspo photos that she had seen online, which I always encourage clients to do. I often remind my clients, "This is YOUR shoot!" It truly is a collaborative effort; I bring the photography gear and technical skills but the overall vibe of the shoot is all you!
